Bowling Shirt - acrylic on canvas Strike - acrylic on canvas In a Jam - acrylic on boad white things growing - acrylic on board mean eight - acrylic on board

Started working with acrylic .. easier to use, less expensive … much less toxic than oil. And it dries quickly .. so here is some cheap art done with some cheap ol’ Micheal’s acrylic paint - I think I spent 58 cent per bottle of paint.

Heat is the mortal enemy of anyone with Multiple Sclerosis. It makes your legs turn to spaghetti, eyesight dims and your head feel like it’s getting banged by a monkey with a plumber’s wrench. I hate heat and I mostly hate summer.

So I thank the ancient gods and my brother that I could stay a few days up at his cabin. It’s at ten thousand feet near Cedar City, Utah. There was a lot of rain so the plant things were in full bloom.

Sometimes the best thing in life is just to breath.

We have met the enemy and he is us.

Disadvantages - Pentax sounds like Tampax

FYI - I receive NO financial benefit from Pentax or any benefit from anyone for writing this post. I don’t even know anyone from Pentax .. even the local dealer won’t talk to me - he thinks I’m beneath him.

Holga 120fn Olympus OM-1 Lomography ActionSampler Agfa Optima 200 Lomography Fisheye Yashica Minister III

My 35mm camera collection. The Holga is actually 120 but I installed the 35mm conversion kit. I love them all .. except for the Minister which the vendor ripped me off - the internal plastics are broken.

These pictures were taken with my Lomography Fisheye 35mm camera using ISO 400 film. This lens takes a bit to get used to. Dramatic angles and wide expanses seem to work best.

Micro 3 way Soft spot Green Fisheye Stretch Blue star 5 way Jelly Lens

I purchased a whole bunch of Jelly Lenses off Ebay. They’re tiny little filters that stick to the front of a cellphone camera. There are all kinds of effects .. fisheye, micro, soft, 3 and 5 mirror .. colored .. just a lot of fun. So here are some picture I took of myself. Hope you enjoy.

I would like to introduce my Dumpy Tree Frog. His name is Elvis but sometimes I call him the Green Ninja - because he sneaks, stalks, ambushes, pounces on unsuspecting crickets. When a cricket has a nightmare, it dreams of Elvis.

However - on this day after I dumped in some lovely, juicy crickets into Elvis’ tank, he became too excited and missed the prey - almost flipping himself upside down in his wading pool. I didn’t think it was possible for a frog to drown in 3/4 of an inch of water.

You can almost see the embarrassment on his little green face.

Some may have certain sensibilities toward crickets. I don’t .. these crickets have had the best of life - no pesticides or chemicals .. lived on fresh slices of potato. For the cricket it has been all good days - except for one.

Also - crickets and the occasional wax worm are the only things Elvis eats. I do not feed my frog any baby anythings.

This is where I hang out waiting for Elvis to appear.
